Situated about a mile east of Melbourne in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, the Melbourne View Hotel is ideally situated for your Wedding. We can provide accommodation, buffets, sit down meals, and all in a lovely location for your occasion. We can also accommodate Christenings and parties and celebrations of all kinds

Our emphasis is on providing a warm friendly atmosphere in which you can enjoy your big occasion to the full. If the weather is kind we have two beautiful main lawns, a dovecote, a conservatory, a bar terrace and plenty of safe areas for your children to play. The views from the hotel are stunning and there are plenty of outside areas to enjoy.

We have very successfully run civil ceremonies and wedding receptions for up to 120 people. This has included an afternoon reception for guests invited to the ceremony followed by an evening function including a disco, dance floor and all the trimmings.

The hotel is situated in 3.2 acres of beautiful Derbyshire countryside of which around half is hotel gardens. We can therefore provide a separate seating and play area away from the noise and bustle of the main event for children and guests that require a little peace.

The conservatory can seat up to 50 for a sit down meal and we can accomodate up to 100 for a buffet. We have own marquee for added space which can accomodate another 50. If all 13 rooms are booked then you can have exclusive use of the hotel and therefore we will take children under 12. For your Wedding will be tailor our pricing to individual requests and budgets.

As the restaurant is air conditioned it makes a perfect serving area for a large buffet. We have provided a buffet for 120 people. All the food was freshly prepared on site. We can offer any type of buffet you require and would be very happy to discuss your requirements and budget for your big occasion.
