To start

  • Duck and orange pate served with warm toast and garnished with a salad.
  • Butterfly king prawns in a crispy crumb coating served on a bed of salad with a sweet chilli dip.
  • Vegetable spring rolls served with a sweet chilli dip and a salad garnish.
  • Breaded mushrooms with a garlic mayonnaise dip and a salad garnish.
  • Spicy chicken goujons with a salad garnish and a sour cream dip.
  • Mushroom ravioli tossed in olive oil and topped with grated parmesan
  • Hot and spicy chicken samosas with mango chutney and a salad garnish

Main courses

  • Fillet steak (8oz) from our local butcher cooked how you like it. Served with either mushrooms, tomatoes, onion rings and chips OR a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes. Add our homemade pepper or stilton sauce for an extra £1.50.
  • Chicken Caesar salad prepared using Romaine lettuce, fresh spring onion, cucumber, with our own Caesar sauce topped with chicken fillet pan fried in butter and croutons.
  • Large gammon steak topped with pineapple or an egg and served with chips and peas OR a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes.
  • Ricotta and spinach tortellini in a rich creamy tomato and basil sauce.
  • Stir fried breast of chicken in a Sweet Cantonese sauce served on a bed of basmati rice.
  • Breaded scampi and chips served with a slice of lemon and tartar sauce
  • Liver and bacon served on a bed of creamy mash in a rich onion gravy with a selection of fresh vegetables.
  • Salmon fillet with prawns simply cooked in butter and served with potatoes or chips and a selection of fresh vegetables
  • Pork tenderloin medallions and pan fried in butter covered with a rich creamy mushroom and white wine sauce served with either a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes or chips.

Desserts

  • Caramel apple pie - apple chunks topped with a layer of caramel and crumble on a pastry base
  • Death by chocolate - a rich chocolate mousse covering chocolate cake filled with layers of chocolate fudge
  • Blackcurrant cheesecake - deliciously sharp taste and a creamy texture with a crunchy base
  • Lemon mousse tart - a light lemon mousse on a cheesecake base topped with a layer of cream
  • Toffee crunch pie - a chocolate biscuit base with a layer of toffee and vanilla and a cheesecake topping
  • Treacle tart - a soft pastry base with a golden treacle filling
  • Vanilla ice cream served with fine wafers, a Cadburys flake and a choice of chocolate or raspberry sauce
